This was a new, ground up fire station for the Omaha Fire Department (OFD) to replace an existing aging station. This station was built with state-of-the-art technology that improved the communication, response times, and living conditions for the fire fighters. Some of the elements consisted of a 4 bay apparatus garage, dayroom, full kitchen, fitness area, 11 private sleeping rooms, a decon area,, and a 150KW backup generator.
